Spencer Webster-Bass is an aspiring engineer from Paxon School for the Advanced Studies. Since the Summer of 2007 when he participated in the Kirby Smith Science and Robotics Camp, Spencer has been participating in academic activities to enhance his dream of becoming an engineer. He participated in the Georgia Tech University Engineering Summer Program in July 2015 and the Howard University Engineering Summer Program in July 2016. Spencer has also received the prestigious Eagle Scout honor. He was elected Band Captain in 10th grade. In 11th Grade, he was elected IB Senator for the Senior Class Officers. Spencer has also worked diligently in the community as a Cancer Relay for Life volunteer and as
a Sickle Cell Disease Association of America Northeast Florida Chapter Walk-a-thon volunteer. Spencer’s immediate goals are to complete high school with honors and to pursue a career at a prestigious institution
in the field of engineering and the arts.
