Bertha’s passion lies in the performing arts. She is vice president of communications
in the National Dance Honor Society, a
member of the dance theater performance
group at the Jacksonville Center of the arts and is an actress in the Douglas Anderson Musical How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying. Active in her community, she volunteers as a youth counselor and teaches dance at Don’t Miss a Beat, a summer camp and year around after school program that exposes underprivileged, youth to the performing arts. She also is a youth leader at her church and is a member of the National Honor Society.
